Wiredsport.com, now respected as one of the premiere online retailers of active sports gear, began in the early 90's as a single 3,000 square foot sporting goods shop in greater Portland, Oregon. Our philosophy of bringing the highest quality equipment to the end customer at the most reasonable prices, soon brought us to the internet. We found ourselves scrambling to keep up with the unbelievable, international demand for the deals we were able to provide. This prompted us to seek out these values, in ever larger quantities, wherever they existed. Now, with the explosive growth of the web itself, and our rooted foothold in it's infrastructure, we are approached daily with deals to consider for our expanding customer base. Our emphasis remains on quality, and customer satisfaction. We will carry closeouts, when the technology has not been surpassed by the current models. We will bring you this years model, when the closeout market will not yet provide updated technology. Unlike many internet companies, we do not wish to be without direct customer contact. We do a great deal of phone, and email conversing, to make sure that our clients have the information to make informed purchases. Shopping for active sports gear is very customer specific, and needs more direct information than other areas of retail.
